Location​

Any page in any web app.

Cause​

The Media Server is not responding to the health checks.

Resolution​

  1. Make sure your Cardinal Media Server is up and running. If it crashed, take note of the error message then restart it with docker compose up -d.
  2. Ensure that you are using the local area network IP address of the device that your Cardinal Media Server is running on. It must match either 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x. You cannot use a loopback address like localhost, 127.0.0.1 or ::1.
  3. You can report error messages on the community forums.
