Danger

This will erase your Cardinal Media Server database and cached data. Your source media files will not be touched.

# Danger - this will delete your Cardinal data
docker compose down --volume

You can now reinstall by running docker compose up -d, or you can delete your docker-compose.yaml file.

Factory resetโ€‹

Performing a factory reset will deindex your media, and then wipe everything else in the database. Your local files will not be touched.

After the factory reset is done, your Media Server will have a new instance ID, and it will need to be claimed by your Cloud Account.
